Joan Collins is a TD for Dublin South Central. She was first elected to Dublin City Council in 2004, and was re-elected in 2009. In 2011, she was elected to Dail Eireann.

She has earned a well deserved reputation as a hard working, capable and experienced public representative. Joan has a record second to none as a campaigner and organiser of ‘people power’ on behalf of working people.

Activists Take Action Against ‘Tip Theft’ in The Ivy Restaurant

This evening, Thursday 14th of March, a number of workers, trade unionists and activists gathered at the Ivy Restaurant in a direct action to highlight ‘tip theft’ occurring of workers tips. A ‘menu’ of workplace issues that have been reported by past and present staff was read aloud to customers and management which included issues with contacted pay and break times and more.
